EXCLUSIVE: ‘We have to think big’ – Andretti on the beginning of Cadillac’s F1 journey as they prepare for home debut
1978 F1 World Champion Mario Andretti discusses how Cadillac are getting on as they get set for their first home outing in Miami.

“This is the beginning of something big.”
Those were the words of Mario Andretti, one of only two Americans to win the Formula 1 world title, when discussing Cadillac – F1’s newest team.
Andretti will know a thing or two about what it takes to succeed in Formula 1. The 86-year-old accumulated 128 Grand Prix starts across 14 campaigns and won 12 races, took 19 podiums and scored 18 pole positions – plus the World Championship in 1978 – while racing for the likes of Lotus, March, Ferrari, Parnelli, Alfa Romeo and Williams.
